"I am passionate about helping my patients improve their quality of life by transforming their skin, whether by helping them clear acne or become free of skin cancer. Most importantly, I love working with my patients on a day-to-day basis. I genuinely enjoy spending time getting to know them and it's important for me to take a thorough approach to every diagnosis I make because every part of our bodies is interconnected. Sometimes the answer isn't as obvious as it seems and by taking the time to interact with my patients and learn more about them, I'm able to better help.
Unlike other medical specialties, dermatology is unique in that you can see results from the outside in. Your skin can give you important insight into what's going on inside your body and the outside influences on it.
By taking the time to get to know my patients, I can also teach them about their skin and how they can better take care of themselves. There's nothing more satisfying than hearing a patient express their relief that their skin is now clear and healthy."
