Rena Fortier, M.D. earned her undergraduate degree from Barnard College and her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, in New York City. Dr. Fortier is board-certified in dermatology. Her special professional interests include skin cancer detection, acne treatment and cosmetic dermatology, including laser treatments, Botox and dermal fillers.

Donald Savitz, M.D. received both his BS and his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, before moving to New York. He completed his internship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and his residency in dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident. In addition to English, Dr. Savitz speaks Spanish, Italian and French. He is board certified in dermatology.

David Ciocon, M.D.
David Ciocon, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his M.D. from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He completed three years of combined general and plastic surgery residency training at Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital and his dermatology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident. He then completed a Mohs micrographic and dermatologic surgery fellowship under Dr. David Goldberg in Hackensack, NJ. A board certified dermatologist, his clinical interests include skin cancer removal, psoriasis and eczema treatments, facial reconstructive surgery, laser medicine, and cosmetic rejuvenation.

Caroline Halverstam, M.D.
Caroline Halverstam, M.D. received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her internship at New York University Medical Center and her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. Her clinical interests include acne and rosacea treatment, skin cancer detection, eczema and psoriasis.

Christine Zarb, APRN
Christine Zarb, APRN is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with fifteen years of nursing
experience. She graduated from New York University in 1996 with a Baccalaureate of Nursing
Science and earned two Master Degrees from Columbia University in Nursing Science and
Public Health in 2001 - 2002. She has completed advanced training in aesthetic medicine from
Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and the Esthetic Skin Institute and is certified in laser and
light technologies through UT Southwestern. Christine has also earned a Bachelor of Business
Administration from Hofstra University in 1989 before she realized her calling to nursing.
